Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). 1.  Polchief delivered Reftel talking points and accompanying 
resolution, on November 17, to MFA Multilateral Division Director 
Susan Gordon. 
 
2.  Gordon told Polchief that T&T would neither oppose this 
resolution nor abstain on it.  She reminded Polchief that 10 out of 
15 members of the Security Council had voted in favor of a similar 
resolution, and said it was her understanding that France and 
Greece, among other countries, are supportive of the resolution.
