Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

(U) On August 18, we provided the MFA Deputy Director General 
for Disarmament and Arms Control Bulent Meric with a summary 
of the July 2006 Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) 
Operational Experts Group (OEG) meeting held in Singapore 
from July 25-26 (reftel).  Meric undertook to share the 
summary to the appropriate offices.
