Understanding cables

(SBU) On August 22, Dimai Haddad, chief of staff to Foreign 
Minister Khatib, told polcouns that the GOJ would welcome the 
release of Mohammed Hilal Bekhtyan al-Sharafat and Hassan 
Salman Hilal as soon as possible (reftel).  Haddad stated 
that Jordan's Ambassador in Baghdad, Ahmad al-Lowzi, should 
serve as the point person in Iraq for any issues related to 
their release.
