Understanding cables

1. EmbOff delivered talking points to Jackie Hamer, Director of 
Multlateral and Global Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 
26. Hamer said that the Ministry is currently drafting a position 
paper on the Iran matter and that the demarche comes at an opportune 
time to inform that process. Hamer also said that Guyana is 
"certainly in favor of a peaceful solution" to the Iran nuclear 
issue.
