Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). 1.  Per reftel, poloff delivered diplomatic note number 183 
on June 6 to MFA Director of UN and International 
Organizations Affairs Nasser Bourita requesting GOM support 
for the Ruth Wedgwood's re-election to the U.N. Human Rights 
Committee.  Poloff also left a copy of Wedgwood's CV.  The 
diplomatic note had previously been sent to the MFA on May 
31.  While he could make no immediate commitment, Bourita 
pledged to carefully consider the issue of GOM support for 
Wedgwood.
