Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

Agnes Alvarado, the official in charge of North American 
relations at Nicaragua's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), 
informed Political Specialist on July 13 that the Nicaraguan 
mission in Geneva will represent the GON at the June 20-21 
International Red Cross/Red Crescent Conference.  On July 14, 
Alvarado informed poloff that the MFA will send the points in 
ref A to the Nicaraguan mission in Geneva and instruct the 
Nicaraguan representatives to support the MDA and oppose any 
move by the OCI to block or disrupt the proceedings.
