 1. The following statement is provided to verify the human 
rights vetting process: at this time the Embassy verified 
that Post possesses no credible information of gross human 
rights violations by any members of the Yemen Special 
Operations Force (YSOF) or Yemen Central Security Force, 
Counter Terrorism Unit (CSF-CTU). 
 
2.  Additionally the following human rights vetting 
information is provided: 
 
A.  Specific host nation units to be trained:  One YSOF 
platoon consisting of approximately 40 personnel and one 
CSF-CTU platoon consisting of approximately 45 personnel. 
 
B.  Estimated number of personnel participating from unit: 
      YSOF:       40 
      CSF-CTU:    45 
 
C.  Certifying country team official: Pol/Econ Chief Joey 
Hood. 
 
D.  Current threat assessment: High. 
 
E.  This message grants country team approval on human rights 
vetting requirements for the JCET in Yemen: CYE2006JCET001W
