Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.
  • The middle box contains the header information that is associated with the cable. It includes information about the receiver(s) as well as a general subject.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. 1.  Embassy Kabul requests country clearance for Kanishka 
Bakhshi, FSN Political Assistant, to travel to Islamabad to 
obtain a visa to the U.S.  Mr. Bakhshi has been nominated to 
participate in the 5th Annual FSN Worldwide Conference to be 
held in Washington, D.C. June 15-23. 
 
 2. Embassy Kabul requests assistance with transportation and 
hotel arrangements in Islamabad   Mr. Bakhshi departs Kabul 
on May 22 at 3:00 p.m. in the UNHAS flight, arriving to 
Islamabad at 04:30 p.m. and returns to Kabul on May 24.
