1. On May 3, 2006, Embassy delivered Diplomatic Note 126 dated May 
2, 2006, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of 
Brazil and a letter (per State 56827) from Bureau of Reclamation 
(BUREC) in response to GOB's January 25, 2006, diplomatic note 
ABC/DEUC/006/ETEC BRAS-EUA. 
 
2. Text of dip note is as follows:

"No. 126 
 
The Embassy of the United States of America presents its compliments 
to the Ministry of External Relations of the Federative Republic of 
Brazil and has the honor to transmit to the Ministry the attached 
letter from the Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation 
(Reclamation) in response to the Brazilian diplomatic note 
ABC/DEUC/006/ETEC BRAS-EUA, dated January 25, 2006, regarding 
Reclamation's technical assistance program with the 
PROAGUA-Semi-Arido Program. 
 
The Embassy of the United States of America avails itself of this 
opportunity to renew to the Ministry of External Relations of the 
Federative Republic of Brazil the assurances of its highest 
consideration.
