Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). (SBU) On March 1, Ambassador delivered to FM Abdulilah 
Al-Khatib the diplomatic note (reftel) regarding the King 
Abdullah Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC).  Khatib 
undertook to provide a diplomatic note in response. Post also 
provided copies of reftel note to the Chairman of the 
Jordanian Armed Forces, General Khalid Sarairah, and to Major 
General Mohammed Tayseer and Brigadier General Mohammed 
Farghal, who are the main Jordanian military contacts for 
this project.
