GOM officials confirm that Secretary General of Economic 
Affairs Monkid Mestassi will attend the MENA-OECD Investment 
Ministerial, February 13-14, 2006.  Minister of Economic 
Affairs Rachid Talbi Alami has not confirmed but may still 
choose to attend.  Post will continue to encourage Minister 
Alami to attend the Investment Ministerial and will advise 
Department accordingly.
