SUBJECT: COUNTRY CLEARANCE REQUEST FOR TRAVEL OF DHS/TSA 
ASSISTANT SECRETARY HAWLEY AND TSA OFFICIALS 
 
 
 1.  The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) 
requests country clearance for travel of Edmund S. "Kip" 
Hawley, Assistant Secretary, Transportation Security 
Administration (TSA), his aide, marshall Sanders, and David 
W. Tiedge, Assistant Administrator, TSA International 
Programs, to geneva (October 25-26), Brussels (October 26-27) 
and London (October 27). 
 
2.  The purpose of the travel is to attend the International 
Air Transport Association's Annual Aviation Security World 
Conference in Geneva and to meet with European 
Aviation/Transportation Officials.  Mr. Hawley will meet with 
members of the European Civil Aviation Conference, EU 
Commision Officials and the UK Department for transport 
counterparts.
