ΒΆ1. (U) On September 22, post received a letter from the 
International Trade Administration Commission (ITAC) of South 
Africa informing us of an investigation into the alleged dumping 
of feed supplements containing lysine that are imported from the 
United States from the Degussa Corporation, located in Blair 
Nebraska.  Following please find the text of this letter.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 6.7 of the Agreement 
on Implementation of Article VI of the General agreement on 
Tariffs and Trade, 1994, the Government of the United States of 
America is hereby informed that Mr. Ephraim Mogashoa, Ms. Selma 
Takacs, and Ms. Porcia Mphahlele of the Directorate: Trade 
Remedies will carry out investigations in the USA during the 
period 10/01/2005 to 10/07/2005 in order to verify the accuracy 
of the information provided in their response to the ITAC 
exporter's questionnaire.
