a continued commitment to Haiti to Foreign Ministry Director 
of Multilateral Political Affairs Julio Garro on August 12. 
Garro was not able to comment immediately due to involvement 
in preparation of briefing materials for new Foreign Minister 
Fernando Olivera.  Post will follow up next week and report 
on the Ministry's reaction.
