Understanding cables

notifying the USG that they plan to proceed with an anti- 
dumping investigation with regard to imports of polycarbonate

I refer to the DECOM petition dated November 12, 2004 
regarding an anti-dumping investigation, damages and the 
causal connection between them, on imports to Brazil of 
polycarbonate resins originating from the U.S.A. and 
others, classified under item 3907.40.90 of the Mercosul 
Common Nomenclature - NCM, as requested by the corporation 
Policarbonatos do Brasil, S.A. 
 
According to the terms of art. 23 of Decree no. 1.602 of 
1995, please be advised that that after evaluating the 
information received, we decided to approve the petition, 
under the terms of art. 19 of Decree no. 1.602 of 1995.
