Understanding cables

Pol/Econ Off delivered reftel demarche to Judite Dobele, the head 
the Latvian MFA's Asia, Africa and Oceania Division.  Ms. Dobele 
replied  that Latvia fully agrees with the USG's goals in 
Afghanistan and is providing assistance to achieve those goals.  For 
example, Latvia currently has 175 troops in Afghanistan and is 
training its third OMLT team for deployment.
