Understanding cables

1. (U) Post received the following Diplomatic Note response 
from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to ref A 
diplomatic note announcing United States' candidacy for the 
UN Human Rights Council. 
 
2. (SBU) BEGIN TEXT: 
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland 
presents its compliments to the Embassy of the United States 
of America in Warsaw and with reference to Note No. 
A-0173/2009 of April 15, 2009, has the honor to inform that 
the Government of Poland will support the candidacy of the 
United States of America to the UN Human Rights Council for 
the term 2009-2012. 
 
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland 
avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Embassy of 
the United States of America assurances of its highest 
consideration.
