Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

1. Members of the Embassy Rabat and Consulate General Casablanca 
joint Visas Viper Committee met June 2, 2008.  The meeting was 
chaired by the DCM and was attended by ACG, RAO, LEGATT, DHS, DAO, 
RSO, POL, ECON and PD. 
 
2. Discussion centered on a recently uncovered terror network 
accused of plotting attacks in Morocco and Belgium, and of 
recruiting insurgents for Iraq. 
 
3.  Legatt has identified the following eleven arrested members of 
the network.  All are Moroccan males.
