Understanding cables
Every cable message consists of three parts:
  • The top box shows each cables unique reference number, when and by whom it originally was sent, and what its initial classification was.

1. Members of the Embassy Rabat and Consulate General Casablanca 
joint Visas Viper Committee met May 5, 2008.  The meeting was 
chaired by the DCM and was attended by CG, CONS, RAO, LEGATT, DHS, 
DAO, RSO, POL, ECON and PD. 
 
2. Discussion centered on two persons arrested who had been 
harboring a terrorist who had escaped Kenitra prison and who was 
recaptured.  Per reftel, Legatt was asked to confer with Moroccan 
law enforcement counterparts and obtain name and date of birth 
information. 
 
3. Legatt has identified the two individuals as: 
 
GUEMOURI, Khalid, Moroccan male, born January 7, 1975, in Fez. 
 
ESSOUSY, Mohamed Sais, Moroccan male, born 7 May 7, 1979, in 
Tetouan. 
 
 
 
 
4. The Mission's Visas Viper Coordinator is Consular Chief Miguel 
Ordonez.
