  • The middle box contains the header information that is associated with the cable. It includes information about the receiver(s) as well as a general subject.
  • The bottom box presents the body of the cable. The opening can contain a more specific subject, references to other cables (browse by origin to find them) or additional comment. This is followed by the main contents of the cable: a summary, a collection of specific topics and a comment section.

1. E/POLoff delivered reftel demarche to Jorge Chocair, Director of International Relations and Extraditions, at the Ministerio Publico (MP - Chile's Public Prosecutors Office) and Gloria Sepulveda, Director of International Relations at SENAME (Chile's national agency for minors). Chocair said clearly he understood our position, and that the goal of the GOC delegation was technical cooperation. He said he would share our perspective with the rest of the delegation. Sepulveda said her understanding too was that the goal was simply to improve cooperation, and that the agenda of the conference included nothing about developing formal recommendations.

2. The GOC delegation to the Vienna Forum will consist of:
-- Pablo Varas, SERNAM (Chile's agency for women's affairs)
-- Rosa Melendez, ANI (Chile's intelligence agency)
-- Andres Echeverria, SENAME (Chile's national agency for minors)
-- Claudio Munoz, Interior Ministry
-- Jorge Chocair (as described above).
