(SBU) We delivered on January 4 the Secretary's letter to FM 
Douste-Blazy's office (ref A), and were later informed that 
the Minister likely would attend.  In a January 10 meeting, 
Douste-Blazy's Cabinet Director Pierre Vimont confirmed to 
the DCM that Douste-Blazy would indeed attend the January 26 
ministerial.
